Objective To explore the effect of bedside freehand indwelling jejunal tube combined with anal canal decompression on nutri-tional status and prognosis of patients with severe multiple injuries. Methods The data of 90 patients with severe multiple injuries who admitted in our hospital from July 2020 to July 2023 were collected for retrospective analysis.Patients were divided into three groups according to the aspiration and success of cathetering:the group A(n=30)received nasogastric enteral nutrition, the group B(n=30)received nasoenteral nutrition, and the group C(n=30)received bedside freehand indwelling jejunal tube combined with anal canal decompression feeding. The nutritional status, laboratory results and prognosis were compared before and after intervention. Results The levels of PA and Hb in group C were higher than those in group A and group B,but WBC and PCT were lower than those in group A and group B(P<0.05).The incidence rates of sepsis, multiple organ dysfunction syn-drome(MODS),and 28-day mortality in group C were lower than those in group A and group B(P<0.05).Conclusion Bedside freehand indwelling jejunal tube combined with anal canal decompression can improve nutritional status and laboratory results of patients with severe multiple injuries,re-duce nutritional risk, and facilitate the prognosis of patients.
