Analysis of clinical effect of anterolateral thigh flap in repairing compound tissue defect of foot and ankle
Objective To study and analyze the clinical effect of anterolateral thigh flap in repairing compound tissue defect of foot and ankle. Methods From January 2020 to June 2023,92 patients with compound tissue defect of foot and ankle were retrospectively studied.51 cases in the observation group were treated with anterolateral thigh flap, and 41 cases in the control group were treated with island perforator flap. Results the operation time and the healing time of the flap in the observation group were significantly shorter than those in the control group(P<0.05),the scores of AOFAS in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group(P<0.05),and the proportion of S3-S4 in the BM-RC sensory function recovery grade in the observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the incidence of postoperative complications between the observation group(11.76%)and the control group(12.20%)(χ2=0.8214,P>0.05).Conclusion The anterolateral thigh flap can be used to repair the compound soft tissue defect of foot and ankle, and the function of foot and ankle as well as Free flap's sensory function recovery after operation is better,so it is suitable for clinical application.
