Analysis of total shoulder arthroscopic double-pulley suture bridge technique in patients with rotator cuff injury
Objective To investigate the efficacy of total shoulder arthroscopic technique in patients with rotator cuff injury(RCI).Methods 86 patients with rotator cuff injury treated by arthroscopic surgery from January 2019 to January 2024 were included in this study,43 used the tradi-tional suture bridge technique(Group A),and 43 used the double pulley knotless suture bridge technique(Group B),and the surgical and rehabilita-tion related indexes were compared between the two groups. Results The intraoperative blood loss, operative time and hospital stay had no statisti-cally significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05).The postoperative shoulder mobility, shoulder function score and excellent healing rate in group B were higher than those in group A(P<0.05).The pain score and retear rate were in group A were lower than those in group B(P<0.05).Conclusion Total shoulder arthroscopic double pulley knotless suture bridge technology has significant advantages in improving postoperative shoul-der function, reducing pain and the incidence of retear in patients with rotator cuff injury. It is better effective than the traditional suture bridge tech-nology,and can be used as the preferred surgical method for rotator cuff injury.
