Clinical effect ofhysteroscopy combined with laparoscopy treatment of uterine fibroids and protection of endometrium in childbearing age
Objective To investigate the clinical effect of hysteroscopy combined with laparoscopy in the treatment of uterine fibroids, and analyze the protective effect of endometrium. Methods 60 patients with complex uterine fibroids admitted to our hospital from April 2023 to April 2024 were selected and divided into study group and control group by the random number table method, with 30 patients in each group.Patients in the control group wer treated with laparoscopic myomectomy,in the study group were tretated with hysteroscopy combined with laparoscopy. The peri-operative conditions, changes of endometrial thickness, menstrual volume, menstrual days, uterine fibroid symptoms,health-related quality of life questionnaire (UFS-QOL) and postoperative complications were compared between the two groups. Results The intraoperative blood loss,postoper-ative anal exhaust time, getting out of bed time and hospitalization time in the study group were shorter than those in the control group (P<0.05).After surgery 3 months, the endometrial thickness in the study group was higher than that in the control group, the menstrual volume and menstrual days were less/shorter than those in the control group, and symptom severity and health-related quality of life scores in the UFS-QOL score in the study group were lower than those in the control group, with statistical significance(P<0.05).There was no statistical significance in the incidence of compli-cations between the two groups (P>0.05).Conclusion The hysteroscopy combined with laparoscopy for complex uterine fibroids has obvious effect, which can effectively promote postoperative recovery, improve endometrial and menstrual conditions, and is worthy of clinical promotion.
