In September 2023,the OECD released the report"Spotlight on Vocational Education and Training:Findings from Education at a Glance 2023",which focuses on the current development of VET in member countries,analyzing the structure,pathways,and equity of vocational education at the upper secondary and post-secondary education,respectively,and emphasizing that with the focus on upper secondary vocational education,diversification of VET pathways should be provided for upper secondary VET graduates,providing higher level vocational education and training.China should continue to improve the quality of upper secondary vocational education,build an overpass between vocational education and general higher education,vigorously promote educational equity in vocational education and training,and the government and society should further increase investment in vocational education and training.
