The Su-Xi-Chang urban agglomeration,recognized as one of the most economically vibrant regions in China,plays a pivotal role in driving the transformation and upgrading of regional economies through its vocational education development.This article analyzes the tasks and achievements associated with the construction of a vocational education model in the Su-Xi-Chang urban agglomeration,exploring both the value contributions of this high-quality development model and the realistic challenges it faces.The authors propose several strategies and recommendations,including solidifying foundational strengths,enhancing competitive advantages,and addressing existing weaknesses.The goal is to further promote collaborative innovation and integrated high-quality development within the vocational education sector of the Su-Xi-Chang urban agglomeration.
