Building up a Three-Dimensional Space of Grassroots Community:Practical Explorations and Functional Improvement of"Fengqiao Experience"in Community Governance
Community governance is a complex and ongoing task.Under the guidance of the party organization, grassroots governance has achieved some successes and innovations. However,it also faces challenges such as residents'insufficient self-governance ability, low participation of community residents, and limited involvement of social organizations. In the context of rapid economic and social development, grassroots communities have lost the organic connection between people, and the emotional community of the community has been lost.Further research is needed to explore how community governance can facilitate conflict resolution and improve governance efficiency in a society lacking kinship ties.Using Lefebvre's spatial theory as the analytical framework, this study analyses the community public space across three dimensions:physical, social, and emotional.Seven communities with outstanding performance in the"Fengqiao Experience"of community governance in Yuhang District were selected as cases for analysis. The aim was to explore the practical path of grassroots community governance and mass autonomy, effectively resolve residents'conflicts, reduce governance costs, and realise the supply of high-quality community services.
