An Empirical Study of Innovative Talent Cultivation of"New Public Security Science"and the Effect——A Case Study of Innovative Experimental Class of Zhejiang Police College
Police colleges and universities serve as the primary source of education for new public security personnel.Zhejiang Police College adopts a Cultivating mode for innovative talents in domestic universities,which is combined with the actual situation of vocational education.The college provides Cultivating for"New Public Security Science"talents and offers two types of innovative experimental classes at the school and department levels.The innovation experimental class at the school level aims to cultivate public security talents who are loyal,reliable,professional,dedicated,and integrated.The innovation experimental class at the department level aims to cultivate innovative police talents proficient in a specific field.The students in the experimental innovation class have a higher degree of recognition for the talent Cultivating mode compared to the non-innovation experimental class.They exhibit better learning input,participation in extracurricular activities,innovation and critical thinking,learning efficiency,objectives,and achievements.The implementation and exploration of the experimental innovation class has yielded positive practical results.However,there is still room for improvement in the Cultivating of innovative talents,curriculum system,actual combat teaching,innovation tutorial system,and system guarantee.
