With the acceleration of social informatization, telecom and Internet fraud crimes are becoming increasingly rampant. As an important channel for information dissemination and service provider, the Internet platform plays a vital role in preventing and controlling telecommunications and Internet fraud crimes. The Anti-Telecom and Online Fraud Law of the People's Republic of China stipulates the Internet platform's obligations in the prevention and control of the crimes of telecom and online fraud from four aspects:information verification, prohibition of specific behaviors, reasonable attention, and investigative assistance.Internet platforms have data advantages, technical advantages, and organizational advantages, but their"anti-fraud gatekeeper"responsibilities are not unlimited. Therefore,we should take the legitimacy of the Internet platform's"anti-fraud gatekeeper"role expectations as the starting point, comprehensively evaluate the Internet platform's"gatekeeping"capabilities based on the scale and type of the Internet platform, confirm its responsibility boundaries, strengthen the coordinated governance of the Internet platform and the government, and enhance the ability to combat and prevent crimes of telecom and online fraud.
