This study explores the expression and construction of misogynistic discourse in"She Variety Show"from the perspectives of male gaze,female gaze under counter-gaze,and self-gaze,further explores the dilemma of breaking through misogynistic discourse,and reflects on the negative impact caused by misogynistic discourse.The explicit expression of misogyny under the male gaze contains the visual focus of women's appearance and age,and the staring vision that focuses on emotion and family rather than career.At the same time,female gaze is still imprisoned in the traditional male gaze,and female self-prejudice and false identification are hidden in self-gaze.The breakthrough of misogynistic discourse is faced with multiple dilemmas,including the constraints of long-term social norms and the subconscious of misogyny,as well as the influence of commercial logic.Such discourse expression will make it more difficult to break the stereotypes of women in the media,narrow the focus of"She Variety Show"programs,and solidify gender in society.The study effectively breaks through the research path of"She Variety Show",expands the applicability of gaze theory in variety show research,and points out that"She Variety Show"carries strong traces of male gaze and has an impact on female images and society from the narrative of misogyny,opening up a new perspective for program breakthroughs.
