Assessment and Variation of Temporal and Spatial of Key Factors of Water Quality in Coastal Area of the Leizhou Peninsula
A total data of six cruises from 2008 to 2011 is used to study critical water quality factors and the eutrophic index algorithms were used to evaluate the water-environment about the coast of the Leizhou Peninsula. The average concentration range of the critical water quality factors, which contained COD, PO4-P, NO2-N, NO3-N, NH4-N, petroleum, chlorophyll, was 0.61 –1.71 mg/L, 0.01 –0.04 mg/L, 0.004 –0.05 mg/L, 0.05 –0.21 mg/L, 0.02 –0.20 mg/L, 0.01 –0.60 mg/L, 1.16 –3.17μg/L, respectively. The pollutions caused by COD and petroleum were lower; while pollutions caused by PO4-P, inorganic nitrogen were inverse indicating its pollution risks. The eastern coast of the peninsula was more polluted than the western especially in Zhanjiang harbor, Leizhou bay and northeastern of the Peninsula showed high eutrophic lever.
