Characterization and Expression Analysis of Key Genes of the Oxygen-Dependent Signaling Pathway in Larimichthys crocea
In this study,EGLN1,EGLN2,EGLN3 of EGLN family and HIF1α gene of Larimichthys cro-cea were identified. It was found that the proteins encoded by these four genes were all extracellular proteins without transmembrane region. The domain of P4Hc is the characteristic domain of EGLN family.Multiple se-quence alignment revealed conformance of the four genes.Protein-protein interaction(PPI)network analysis re-vealed that the entire EGLN family directly interacts with HIF1α,VHL,TCEB1 and EPAS1.Phylogenetic analysis confirmed that EGLN1 plays a key role in tolerating hypoxia.Real-time quantitative PCR analysis showed that the four genes were expressed in all tissues.Under hypoxic stress, the expression of EGLN1 was first down-regulated and then up-regulated in all tissues except gill and brain. These results provide basic da-ta for culture biology of L.crocea.
