Effect Analysis of Collision Avoidance Action Based on Relative Ship Speed Ratio
Based on the relative ship speed ratio,namely the ratio of relative speeds of two ships navigating in op-posite directions,a quantitative analysis is made about the effect of collision avoidance action,where the coming ship maintains the course direction as well as navigation speed,while the other takes collision avoidance action by changing course direction as well as navigation speed.The calculation approach is proposed for the real motion ele-ments of in coming ship on the basis of relative speed ratio.
