A New Achievement in Translation and Internatinal Communication Study:On The Translation of Chinese Literature and the Exchange Between Chinese Literature and Foreign Literature—Interviews with Contemporary Chinese Writers
With the implementation of China's national strategy of"Chinese Culture Going Global",the issue of Chinese literary translation and exchange between Chinese and foreign literature has become one of the current research focuses.The publication of the book The Translation of Chinese Literature and the Exchange Between Chinese Literature and Foreign Literature—Interviews with Contemporary Chinese Writers(2023)has come into being just at the right time.This book examines the translation of Chinese literature and the exchange between Chinese literature and foreign literature from the perspectives of both writers and translators,and it expounds how to effectively translate and spread Chinese literature,an important part of Chinese culture,from the perspectives of cultural context,national rise and fall and social development.Its characteristics are reflected in the following four aspects:the inheritance,the connectivity,the sociality,and the pertinence of the research.This is a new achievement in domestic translation and international communication research,which will certainly play a significant role in promoting the translation from Chinese to foreign languages and its international communication.
