Enhancing academic discourse power is conducive to promoting the construction and dissemination of our independent knowledge system.Focusing on the role of language and translation in the production and dissemination of management knowledge,Professor Susanne Tietze of Sheffield Hallam University published the book Language,Translation and Management Knowledge in 2022,exploring ways to improve academic discourse power.This book reviews the development status of language-sensitive research in international management and functional features of translation,criticizes monolingual thinking in English,and provides inspiration for enhancing multilingualism and deepening the study of academic discourse power.
