Expression and Reshaping of the Spirit of Place:Design of the"Haitang Anlan"Common Prosperity Community Hub
The construction of Common Prosperity Community Hubs is undertaken within the background of urban and rural feature improvement in Zhejiang Province,with the premise of addressing the public's actual needs.The hub's construction makes full use of idle or inefficient micro architectural spaces,which to provide multi service,and improve public facilities.This paper analyzes the"Anlan Dam"project that the first prize winner in the Zhejiang Province Common Prosperity Community Hubs Innovation Design Competition.It explores how the concept of the Common Prosperity Community Hub,combined with the site's specific historical and cultural context,uses the"Twisted Block"element from the Anlan seawall project as a symbolic prototype.The architectural site becomes a place that embodies the coexistence of human interaction with nature and historical memory.The paper also discusses the exploratory process and interim results of applying a modular design concept in the project.
