Revitalization and Renewal Design of Rural Public Spaces under the Background of Common Prosperity:A Case Study of the Tianmu Community Hub Design
There are a large number of idle houses in rural areas that need to be activated and utilized.Taking the comprehensive agricultural market of Ru'ao Town as an example, this paper addresses its advantages, such as well-preserved structures, rich historical memories, and high recognition among residents,as well as issues like closed spaces, single functionality, and low utilization.By integrating concepts of preservation and regeneration, the project continues the market's original spirit and spatial logic. It retains the main structure of the existing building and restructures and updates the architectural space to revitalize it.The market is transformed into a rural common prosperity community hub that integrates community living room, public services, and cultural exchange. This approach provides a reference for revitalizing and renewing a large number of rural buildings and public spaces.
