Research on the Mechanism of Diverse Stakeholder Participation in Urban Renewal
Addressing the diverse stakeholder's interests in urban renewal,this study analyzes the practices and experiences of multiple stakeholder participa-tion in the Regent Park Community's renewal project in Toronto,Canada.It explores four key aspects:the dual-track renewal plan,diversification of participating stakeholders,overall coordination mechanisms,and public participation.The interaction and collaboration models between different stakeholders,along with their roles and responsibilities in project decision-making,planning,and execution,are elaborated.The study explores how the mechanism of diverse stakeholder participation contributes to improving community environments,social-economic development,and pursuing social equity.The study aims to provide valuable references and lessons for multi-stakeholder collaboration in urban renewal in China.
