As the aging of population is accelerating,studies on elderly care buildings focus on both the medical and nursing functions and the physiological and psychological needs of the facility environment.Based on 6 cases of 4 elderly care service facilities in Hangzhou,this paper analyzes the service contents and functions,site spatial planning and age-appropriate design to summarize the design strategy of the space environment of the elderly service facilities.Which aims to help architects to design a suitable space environment that meets the physical and mental needs and behavioral characteristics of the elderly in design practice.
