Reuse of Low-Efficiency Space under Bridges from the Perspective of Urban Micro-Renewal:Take"Hangzhou Lantern Festival under the Bridge"as an Example
In the context of urban stock renewal,"small incision"and"diversification"have become the main themes of revitalizing inefficient land use. This article summarizes and discusses the design practice of inefficient spaces under the Qinfeng Bridge in Gongshu District,Hangzhou, from the perspective of urban micro renewal.Firstly, from the perspective of scene activation, and the design principle of"starting with small incisions",it create a dynamic shared space under the bridge that is full-time,replicable,and easy to promote.Secondly, organically implant diversified and variable spatial scene modules to create a"three variable"space with variable individual, variable scene, and variable block. Finally,a discussion will be held on the strategies and plans for urban micro renewal, elaborating on the four forms of use in design practice, and further proposing a balance strategy between expanding the scope of"public welfare"and mobilizing the vitality of"economy".Specific strategies and measures will be proposed for urban micro renewal to help comprehensively improve the city's image and people's quality of life.
