This paper focuses on the issue of idle or inappropriate utilization of spaces under rural viaducts.It takes the space under the viaduct in Changxi Village,Cixi City,as a research case.The paper explores the design methods for the renewal and utilization of spaces under rural viaducts,aiming to meet the needs of the population,restore the rural environment,connect regional functions,and promote rural development.It is intended to bring about reasonable and sustainable improvements to these underutilized and overlooked spaces under rural viaducts that hold potential.This paper provides valuable insights for the contemporary renewal and design of spaces under rural bridges.
