The self-similarity theory is applied in the phased planning and construction of actual projects,with full respects of the original site environment and continuation of the existing architectural style,so that new buildings can be generated in a more harmonious way.In the entire design process of the Phase Ⅲ of Deqing People's Hospital project,from the overall layout and form generation to the plane organization and facade modeling,guided by the theory of self-similarity,this theory was applied to practical projects as an exploration of the design thinking mode for future urban renewal projects.
