Objective To research the effect of Hegu acupoint"Hegu thorn method"combined with mirror therapy on hand function in patients with hemiplegia in stroke recovery period.Methods From January 2022 to February 2023,80 patients with hemiplegia after stroke in the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine of our hospital were selected as the research objects.There were 40 cases in the control group and and 40 cases in the observation group,and the simple random method was used to divide the group.The control group was treated with basic drugs and conventional rehabilitation,and the observation group was treated with Hegu acupoint"Hegu thorn method"combined with mirror therapy on the basis of the control group.The Fugl-Meyer scale(FMA),Brunnstrom Hand Movement Function Grading and modified Barthel index(MBI)score of the two groups before and after treatment were compared,and the adverse reactions of the two groups were observed.Results After 4 weeks of treatment,the FMA score,Brunnstrom Hand Movement Function Grading and MBI score of the observation group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05),and no obvious adverse reactions occurred.Conclusion Hegu Acupoint"Hegu Thorn Method"combined with mirror therapy can promote the recovery of hand function and improve the quality of life in convalescent patients with stroke,and the clinical effect is remarkable.
