Objective To observe the curative effect of soft firm and unblocking collaterals Chinese medicine wet compress combined with silicone gel in the treatment of facial deep burn scar.Methods 50 patients with deep facial burn admitted to Jiaxing Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital from August 2021 to August 2022 were selected as the study subjects,and were divided into the treatment group and the control group with 25 cases each.The two groups of patients started anti scar treatment after the facial wound healed.The control group used silicone gel for external use,three times a day.The treatment group used soft firm and unblocking traditional Chinese medicine wet compress combined with silicone gel.The two groups of patients used Vancouver scar scale(VSS)to evaluate the patients'scar hyperplasia and the total effective rate of treatment.Results The total effective rate of the treatment group was 96.0%,which was higher than that of the control group 68%(P<0.05).The VSS scores of patients in the treatment group were(2.48±0.51),(1.48±0.65)and(0.88±0.67)points respectively 1,3 and 6 months after wound healing,which were lower than those in the control group(2.40±0.50),(1.92±0.57)and(1.40±0.57)points,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Compared with the simple use of silicone gel,the application of soft firm and unblocking Chinese medicine wet compress combined with silicone gel has better effect on the treatment of facial deep burn scars,which is worthy of clinical application
