Objective To explore the therapeutic effect of acupuncture combined with cognitive function training on patients with Alzheimer's disease(AD)and its influence on lipid metabolism. Methods A total of 100 patients admitted to the Psychosomatic Disorders Department of the Seventh People's Hospital of Shaoxing,Zhejiang Province from April 2019 to April 2021 were selected and divided into the control group and the combined treatment group with 50 patients each by random number table method. Both groups were treated with conventional medication, the control group was treated with cognitive function training on the basis of conventional treatment, and the combined treatment group was treated with acupuncture on the basis of the control treatment group.Serum lipid analysis,Simple Mental State Inventory(MMSE)score, executive function, abstract ability, orientation score, left vertebral artery(LVA),right vertebral artery(RVA),right middle cerebral artery(MCA)level and clinical efficacy evaluation of the two groups were compared. Results After treatment, the levels of cholesterol total(TC),glycerin trilaurate(TG)and low-density lipoprotein(LDL)in the combined treatment group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).The language ability, memory and attention scores of the combined treatment group were lower than those of the control group(P<0.05).The scores of executive function, abstract ability and orientation in the combined treatment group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).Compared with the control group, the levels of LVA,RVA and MCA in the combined treatment group were lower. The total effective rate was higher(P<0.05).Conclusion Acupuncture combined with cognitive function can significantly improve the serum lipid level, language ability, memory, attention, executive ability and orientation of patients with AD,and the therapeutic effect is remarkable.
