Objective To analyze the influence of dulaglutide on blood glucose control in type 2 diabetes. Methods 290 patients with type 2 diabetes who were admitted to Lishui People's Hospital from January 2018 to December 2022 and treated with dulaglutide were retrospectively selected. The clinical data before treatment were collected, the blood glucose control effect after 8 weeks of dulaglutide treatment was evaluated, and the factors influencing the blood glucose control effect of dulaglutide were further analyzed. Results After 8 weeks of treatment with dulaglutide,223 cases had good blood sugar control, while 67 cases had poor blood glucose control. In the well-controlled blood glucose group, monocyte count,Homeostatic Model Assessment of Beta Cell Function(HOMA-β)and the serum sodium level were higher compared to the poorly controlled blood glucose group before treatment, the peripheral neuropathy rate of diabetes,C-reactive protein, triglyceride and alanine aminotransferase(ALT)levels were significantly lower than that of the poorly controlled group(P<0.05).After controlling for confounding factors using a binary logistic regression model,it was found that HOMA-β before dulaglutide treatment, serum sodium,C-reactive protein, triglyceride and ALT levels could affect the effect of blood glucose control in type 2 diabetes(P<0.05).Conclusion Most patients with type 2 diabetes can achieve good blood glucose control effect after treatment with dulaglutide, and HOMA-β,serum sodium,C-reactive protein, triglycerides, and ALT levels are factors that affect the efficacy of glycemic control after treatment with dulaglutide.Attention should be paid when formulating treatment plans for patients.
