Objective To investigate the clinical effect of shock wave circulating meridian beating combined with moxibustion in the treatment of cold and dampness obstruction type periarthritis of shoulder.Methods From May 2021 to April 2023,120 patients with cold-dampness obstruction periarthritis of shoulder were selected and divided into three groups with 40 patients in each group by random number table method.The control group 1 was given shockwave general beating,the control group 2 was given shockwave circulation beating,the observation group was given shockwave circulation beating + moxibustion therapy.The efficacy of the three groups and the changes of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)syndrome scores were compared,and the changes of visual analog pain(VAS)score,upper limb joint mobility(ROM),serum tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α),interleukin-6(IL-6)and musculoskeletal ultrasound partial detection indexes measured values before and after treatment were recorded.Results The total effective rate of the observation group was 97.50%,which was significantly higher than that of the control group 1(75.00%)and the control group 2(80.00%)(P<0.05).After treatment,TCM syndrome scores of the three groups were decreased,and the observation group was significantly lower than the control group 1 and the control group 2(P<0.05).After treatment,VAS score of the three groups was decreased,and the observation group was lower than the control group 1 and the control group 2(P<0.05),ROM was increased,the observation group was higher than the control group 1 and the control group 2(P<0.05).After treatment,the serum inflammatory factors of the three groups were decreased,and the observation group was significantly lower than the control group 1 and the control group 2(P<0.05).After treatment,the thickness of coracohumeral ligament(CHL)and glenohumeral joint capsule(IC)in the three groups decreased significantly,and the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group 1 and the control group 2(P<0.05).Conclusion Shock wave circulation meridian beating combined with moxibustion can effectively improve clinical symptoms and inflammatory response,relieve pain,improve the range of motion and muscle strength of shoulder joint,and can be widely used in clinical application.
