Objective To investigate the therapeutic efficiencies of tamsulosin hydrochloride sustained release capsule, nifedipine controlled-release tablet and diosmin tablet combined with tamsulosin hydrochloride sustained release capsule on distal ureteral calculi and nephric colic. Methods The clinical data of 436 patients from Lanxi People's Hospital with distal ureteral stones and nephric colic were collected from April 2018 to April 2023.Three medical pharmaceuticals, including tamsulosin hydrochloride sustained release capsule, nifedipine controlled-release tablet and diosmin tablet combined with tamsulosin hydrochloride sustained release capsule, were chosen to study the therapeutic efficiency for distal ureteral calculi and nephric colic, while the indexes of stone expulsion rate, stone expulsion time and the average dosage of diclofenac sodium suppository in 28d were used for evaluation. Results After the application of the three medical pharmaceuticals, the lowest rate of stone expulsion rate(75%)and the longest time required for stone expulsion(189.9h)were found in the nifedipine controlled-release tablet group, and the average dose of diclofenac sodium suppository was the highest(248 mg),whereas the highest rate of stone expulsion(90%)and the shortest time required for stone expulsion(107.2 h)were found in the combination drug group, and the average dose of diclofenac sodium suppository was the lowest(65 mg).In addition, the adverse events after treatment were less than 10%for all 3 treats. Conclusion Three medical pharmaceuticals are all effective for the treatment of distal ureteral stones and nephric colic, however, diosmin tablet combined with tamsulosin hydrochloride sustained release capsule is the optimal pharmaceuticals for curing distal ureteral calculi.
