Objective To investigate the effect of anterior and posterior urethral fascia reconstruction and posterior urethral fascia suspension on postoperative urinary control in laparoscopic radical prostatectomy(RP).Methods Retrospective analysis of patient data on laparoscopic RP for prostate cancer from January 2019 to January 2022,divided into the observation group and the control group. The observation group consisted of 83 cases, with urethral anterior and posterior fascia reconstruction and posterior fascia suspension performed in the RP,while the control group consisted of 80 patients who underwent routine laparoscopic RP.The incidence of post-prostatectomy incontinence(PPI)was compared between the two groups. Results 163 surgeries were successful, and the observation group showed significantly better urinary control at 1,3,6,and 12 months after RP surgery compared to the control group. Conclusion In laparoscopic RP,reconstruction of the anterior and posterior urethral fascia and suspension of the posterior urethral fascia can improve the patient's postoperative urinary control ability and promote rapid recovery.
