Objective To investigate the correlation between serological screening indicators pregnancy-associated plasma protein A(PAPP-A)and free human villus gonadotropin β(Free-β-HCG)and preeclampsia. Methods A retrospective study was used in this study.Pregnant women with pregnancy outcomes and serological screening in the Maternal and Child Health Hospital of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region from January 2021 to January 2023 were selected as subjects.General information and serological screening data of the subjects were collected and sorted out,and SPSS26.0 statistical software was used to process the data. Results Serological screening index PAPP-A in the preeclampsia group was significantly correlated with preeclampsia, and PAPP-A was lower than that in the normal pregnant women group, the difference was statistically significant. The serological screening index of Free-β-HCG in the preeclampsia group was lower than that in the normal pregnant women group, and the difference was not statistically significant. The area under the ROC curve of serological screening indexes PAPP-A and Free-β-HCG for screening for preeclampsia were 0.603 and 0.548,respectively.Conclusion Serological screening index PAPP-A is closely related to preeclampsia, which can be used as a predictor to detect the occurrence of preeclampsia early.
