Objective To understand the occurrence and characteristics of adverse drug reactions(ADR)in orthopedic patients,and to analyze the causes and influencing factors to provide reference for safe medication for orthopedic patients.Methods A retrospective analysis method was used in 266 cases of ADR from January 2020 to December 2022 in Jiaojiang District.The patients'age,drug types,ADR occurrence time,ADR clinical manifestations,ADR handling,ADR results,etc.were analyzed.Results ADR of 266 orthopedic patients involved various age groups.The incidence of patients over 60 years old was relatively high,accounting for 42.10%.A total of 12 categories of drugs were involved.The top three drugs causing ADR were Chinese patent drugs(27.24%),antipyretic-analgesic and anti-inflammatory drugs(25.09%),anti-infectious agent(21.50%).ADR occurred most frequently within 1 hour after administration(43.98%).ADR involved multiple organs/systems.The most common clinical manifestation was damage to the skin and its accessories(45.49%),followed by gastrointestinal damage(25.97%).The outcome of ADR were recovered(51.88%)and cured(48.12%).Conclusion The occurrence of ADR in orthopedic patients was related to multiple factors.We should master the correct method of medication and strengthen ADR monitoring to ensure patient medication safety.
