Objective To observe the effect of life hope-oriented nursing in family caregivers of patients with primary advanced lung cancer.Methods A randomized controlled trial was used to include 120 family caregivers of advanced primary lung cancer patients who came to our hospital from July 2020 to June 2021,60 cases in the experimental group and 60 cases in the control group.The experimental group received routine nursing guidance combined with life hope oriented nursing,while the control group received routine nursing guidance only.Herth hope score,self-efficacy score,anxiety and depression score were calculated in the two groups after 2 weeks,respectively.Results After 2 weeks of intervention,the Herth life hope level and self-efficacy score of the experimental group were higher than those of the control group(P<0.05),while the anxiety and depression score of the experimental group was significantly lower than that of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Life hope oriented nursing for family caregivers of advanced lung cancer patients can significantly improve their life hope level,self-efficacy,reduce their anxiety and depression,thus effectively promote their mental and emotional state.
