Objective To explore the therapeutic effect of combined technique of long needle oblique insertion at Jugu acupoint and Canggui Tanxue on subacromial pain syndrome. Methods Randomly divided patients with subacromial pain syndrome into two groups, with 32 cases in each group. The control group received routine acupuncture treatment, including local collection of three shoulder needles and Ashi acupoints, and remote collection of Houxi and Zhongping acupoints. On the basis of the control group, the observation group used the method of exploring the giant bone acupoint and the Jugu with acupuncturing method of Canggui Tanxue.Recorded the visual analogue scale(VAS),Constant-Murley scores, and Barthel(BL)scores of each group before and after treatment. Results After treatment, the VAS score of both groups of patients decreased compared to before(P<0.05),the Constant-Murley score significantly increased compared to before(P<0.05),and the BL score increased compared to before treatment(P<0.05).And the VAS score,Constant-Murley score, and BL score of the observation group patients after treatment were better than those of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The combined technique of long needle oblique insertion at Jugu acupoint and Canggui Tanxue can effectively improve the acupuncture treatment effect of subacromial pain syndrome and promote the recovery of shoulder function, which has certain promotion value.
