Objective To observe the effect of"three and a half"ointment on the physical development of early adolescence.Methods A total of 134 cases of early adolescence were selected according to the standard of nano-platoon,and they were randomly divided into the plaster group,the western medicine group and the control group.The three groups were treated and followed up for 18 months.The plaster group was treated with"three and a half"plaster,the western medicine group was given vitamin D and lysine inositol vitamin B12 oral solution,and the control group was given no treatment.The changes of height,body weight,body mass index,bone age and insulin-like growth factor-1(IGF-1)were observed.Results The height of the ointment group was higher than that of the western medicine group and the control group after treatment,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),the IGF-1 level in the ointment group was higher than that in the control group after treatment,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).However,there was no statistically significant difference in weight,body mass index,and bone age among the three groups after the treatment(P>0.05).Conclusion The"three and a half"ointment can promote the increase of height without increasing weight,and is helpful to the physical development of early adolescence.
