Objective To evaluate the feasibility safety and efficacy of laparoscopic primary suture in treatment of the patients with common bile duct stones. Methods The clinical data of 96 patients with common bile duct stones admitted from March 2018 to May 2020 were retrospectively analyzed, and all patients signed informed consent forms, which complied with medical ethics.According to the surgical style,51 cases were treated with primary suture,45 cases were treated with T-tube drainage, and the operation time, intraoperative bleeding, postoperative exhaust and abdominal drainage time,24 hours postoperative pain assessment, hospital stay, and hospitalization cost were compared between the two groups. Results Compared with the T-tube drainage group, there was no obvious difference in intraoperative blood volume and postoperative biliary leakage in primary suture group(P>0.05),but the operation time was short, the postoperative pain was light, the postoperative recovery was fast, and there were obvious advantages in hospital stay and hospitalization cost(P<0.05).There were no serious complications and there was no bile duct stenosis after 6 months to 2 years of follow-up.Conclusion Laparoscopic primary suture after common bile duct exploration is a feasible and ideal method for the treatment of common bile duct stones.
