Objective To explore the vasodilation effect of gallnut and the mechanism of its effective components.Methods The UNIFI database of gallnut was established for the chemical constituents of gallnut identification by UPLC-Q-TOF-Mass system and UNIFI data processing platform.The vasodilation effect of Galla chinensis extract and its possible mechanism via the experiment of rat thoracic aorta ring were explored.Results UPLC-Q-TOF-MSE combined with UNIFI database was used to rapidly analyze and identify 60 chemicals of Galla chinensis,and most of them was phenolic acid.Rat thoracic aorta ring experiment interfered with extract of Galla chinensis might reveal the relax blood vessels effect via endothelium-dependent and endothelium-independent pathways.It might play a role through vascular endothelial nitric oxide synthase.Pharmacological of its pathway might play a role by promoting intracellular calcium release and external calcium influx in smooth muscle cells.Conclusion This study is the first time to identify gallnut extract by UPLC-Q-TOF-MSE combined with UNIFI database and 60 compounds were identified from the extract of gallnut.Phenolic acids account for a large proportion,and their pharmacological effects may be that phenolic acids activate nitric oxide synthase through endothelium-dependent and endothelium-independent pathways to relax blood vessels.Pharmacological pathway may play a role by promoting intracellular calcium release and external calcium influx in smooth muscle cells.
