Objective To explore the preventive and therapeutic effect of Yiqi Jianpi prescription on liver and the possible metabolic mechanism. Methods 30 male C57BL/6 mice were randomly divided into three groups:the normal control group, the high dose control group, the model group, and the low dose group and high dose group.Except the control groups, the mice model of acute alcoholic liver was established by 33% alcohol. The biochemical indexes in serum were detected, and the pathological changes of liver tissue were observed. The serum metabolites of mice in each group were detected by liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry(LC-MS).The data was analyzed using ProgenesisQI and SPSS.Results High-dose Yiqi Jianpi recipe did not affect liver injury and function, while the model group had significantly increased levels of ALT,AST,ALP,LDH and CHOL compared to normal control group. The difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Compared with the model group, the contents of ALT,AST,ALP,LDH and CHOL in the low and high dose groups of Yiqi Jianpi prescription were significantly decreased(P<0.05).LC-MS was used to detect the serum metabolites of mice in each group.46 different metabolites were selected. The most intricate metabolic pathways encompass lipid metabolism, amino acid metabolism, and steroid hormone biosynthesis. Conclusion The protective effect of Yiqi Jianpi prescription on acute alcoholic liver may be related to lipid metabolism, amino acid metabolism and carbohydrate metabolism.
