Objective To explore the correlation between creatine kinase MB isoenzyme(CK-MB)and liver cirrhosis in patients with chronic viral hepatitis. Methods After excluding relevant influencing factors,113 cases were included. All patients were divided into chronic viral hepatitis group(44 cases)and posthepatitic cirrhosis group(69 cases)according to the results of CK-MB activity method within 1-2 days after admission. The posthepatitic cirrhosis group was classified according to the child Pugh classification standard and divided into three groups,A,B and C.T-test was used to compare the results of CK-MB activaty method in hepatitis group and cirrhosis group. Then ANOVA test was used to test the results of CK-MB activaty method in groups A,B and C in post hepatitis cirrhosis group. Results The level of CK-MB activaty method in chronic viral hepatitis group was(14.6±4.8)U/L,and that in post hepatitis cirrhosis group was(42.0±22.7)U/L,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01).In cirrhosis group, the levels of CK-MB activaty method in groups A,B and C were(22.2±10.6)U/L,(44.5±13.7)U/L and(63.4±24.4)U/L,respectively,and the difference was statistically significant among groups A,B and C(P<0.01).Conclusion For patients with a history of chronic viral hepatitis, after excluding factors such as tumor, coronary heart disease, cardiomy opathy, myocardial infarction, immune system and severe infectious diseases, the rise of CK-MB activaty method is considered to have the possibility of liver cirrhosis, and can indirectly reflect the severity of liver cirrhosis.
