Objective To explore the value of Harmless Acute Pancreatitis Score(HAPS)combined with WBC count in evaluating the severity of acute hyperlipidemic pancreatitis.Method The study subjects were 111 patients diagnosed with acute hyperlipidemic pancreatitis from November 2021 to March 2023,including 92 cases in the Non severe Acute Pancreatitis(non-SAP)group and 19 cases in the Severe Acute Pancreatitis(SAP)group. The differences in WBC count,CRP,BMI value, blood amylase, triglycerides, blood glucose, blood sodium, blood calcium level, and HAPS score between two groups of patients were compared. Results The HAPS score and WBC count of SAP group patients were significantly higher than those of non-SAP group(P<0.05).Binary logistic regression showed WBC count and HAPS score are independent risk factors for acute hyperlipidemic pancreatitis. The ROC curve showed that the combination of HAPS and WBC count(AUC=0.898,P<0.05).Conclusion The combination of HAPS score and WBC count has good evaluation value for the severity of acute hyperlipidemic pancreatitis and can be used as an early predictive evaluation indicator.
