Objective To explore the therapeutic effect of acupoint massage combined with lung rehabilitation on pulmonary function in patients with early mechanical ventilation. Methods 93 patients with early mechanical ventilation in our hospital from January 2022 to December 2023 were randomly divided into the acupoint massage group(n=31),the lung rehabilitation group(n=31)and the acupoint massage combined with lung rehabilitation group(n=31).The pulmonary function indexes(FVC,FEV1,FEV1/FVC),mechanical ventilation time,mMRC dyspnea index, incidence of adverse events and clinical efficacy of the three groups before and after treatment were compared. Results Comparison of pulmonary function indexes(FVC,FEV1,FEV1/FVC)at 5 and 30 days after treatment in the three groups showed statistically significant differences(P<0.05).The duration of mechanical ventilation,mMRC dyspnoea index and the incidence of adverse events in the combined treatment group were lower than those in the separate treatment group(P<0.05).The overall effective rate of the combined treatment group was significantly higher than that of the separate treatment group(P<0.05).Conclusion Acupoint massage combined with lung rehabilitation can improve the pulmonary ventilation function and dyspnea, improve the quality of life and promote the rehabilitation of patients with early mechanical ventilation, which is worth popularizing.
