Objective To evaluate the difference in effect of microscope scanning system and traditional manual examination in mycobacteria. Methods The sputum samples from 936 cases(2789)of suspected tuberculosis patients in Quzhou People's Hospital from July 2021 to December 2021 were collected.Zieh I-NeIsen(Z-N)acid resistance staining was performed by automatic tablet dyeing machine, first adding mycobacterial microscope scanning system FS50 for detection, and then manual microscopy of this batch of specimens was carried out, with MGIT320 liquid culture results as the gold standard, and the difference between the diagnostic efficiency and detection time of the two methods were compared. Results The positive detection rates of FS50 and manual microscopy were 8.71%and 8.28%,respectively,and the differences were not statistically significant(P>0.05).Comparison of the detection rate of low positive grade(actual number of strips)and average reading time between the two methods showed statistically significant differences(P<0.05).Conclusion The positive detection rate showed good diagnostic efficacy, but different positive grade. The scanning system has a high degree of automation, shortens the reading time, can greatly alleviate the work intensity of manual microscopy, and has a good application prospect in the clinical detection of mycobacteria.
