Objective To investigate the expression and clinical significance of miR-425-5p,PTEN,and TGF-β1 in early non-smoker non-small cell lung cancer tissues. Methods Forty one patients with lung adenocarcinoma who underwent surgical treatment in our hospital from April 2020 to September 2020 were selected as the observation group, and the corresponding normal tissue adjacent to the cancer was selected as the control group. The expression levels of miR-425-5p in lung cancer and adjacent normal lung tissues were detected using qRT PCR.Western blot was used to detect the relative expression of PTEN and TGF-β1 in lung cancer and adjacent normal lung tissue samples.Compare the relative expression levels of miR-425-5p,PTEN,and TGF-β1 between two groups.Analyze the correlation between miR-425-5p,PTEN,TGF-β1 expression and clinical and pathological parameters.Analyze the correlation between miR-425-5p expression and the relative expression levels of PTEN and TGF-β1.Results The expression levels of miR-425-5p,PTEN,and TGF-β1 in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.001).The expression of miR-425-5p was significantly correlated with tumor recurrence.Compared with patients with high miR-425-5p expression, patients with low miR-425-5p expression had a higher risk of tumor recurrence(P<0.05).There was no statistically significant difference(P>0.05)in the expression levels of miR-425-5p in lung cancer tissues compared to tumor diameter, age, gender, clinical stage, lymph node metastasis, tumor detection time, and serum tumor markers.Spearman correlation analysis suggested that the expression of miR-425-5p is positively correlated with PTEN expression, but not with TGF-β1 expression. Conclusion The abnormal low expression of miR-425-5p,PTEN,and TGF-β1 in early non-small cell lung cancer tissues of non-smokers is closely related to the high risk of tumor recurrence and the expression of PTEN protein.
