Objective To analyze the anxiety and depression symptoms in patients with atrial fibrillation after radiofrequency ablation. Methods Select 187 patients with atrial fibrillation who underwent radiofrequency ablation in our hospital from June 2020 to March 2024 as the treatment group, aged 46-77(56±8.2)years,with 109 males and 78 females.Select 68 atrial fibrillation patients who did not undergo radiofrequency ablation surgery as the control group during the same period.Analyze and compare the Hamilton Anxiety Scale(HAMA)scores and Hamilton Depression Scale(HAMD-17)scores of the two groups from March to June,as well as the HAMA and HAMD scores of patients with atrial fibrillation recurrence after surgery(recurrence group)with the control group. Results The treatment group had lower HAMA and HAMD scores compared to the control group, and the difference was statistically significant. The recurrence group had higher HAMA and HAMD scores than the control group, and the difference was statistically significant. Conclusion Radiofrequency ablation can effectively improve the anxiety and depression of patients with atrial fibrillation, but the anxiety and depression of patients with postoperative recurrence did not improve, but showed an increasing trend.
