Objective To exploring the clinical application of improved digital positioning and depth guide plate in the extraction of completely impacted teeth. Methods Fifteen patients with completely impacted teeth were selected, and based on CBCT data and oral scan models, soft tissue incision lines, fully impacted tooth positioning depth rings, and positioning crown root segmentation lines were designed.A 3D printed tooth supported digital positioning depth guide plate was used for the extraction of completely impacted teeth, and surgical success rate, surgical time, pain level, pain duration, and other indicators were calculated. Results The improved digital positioning depth guide plate had good adhesion during surgery, which could quickly locate and assist in exposing completely buried teeth, avoiding damage to adjacent important anatomical structures. The surgical success rate was 100%,and there were no serious complications during or after surgery. Conclusion The application of improved digital positioning and depth guide plate for the extraction of completely buried teeth can help reduce surgical difficulty and minimize surgical trauma, which is in line with the concept of minimally invasive and precise alveolar surgery.
