Objective To investigate the efficacy of magnetic vibration electrotherapy combined with dapoxetine in the treatment of premature ejaculation(PE)secondary to type Ⅲ chronic prostatitis(CP).Methods A total of 120 patients with type Ⅲ CP-induced PE were randomly divided into a control group and an observation group, each consisting of 60 cases. The control group was treated with oral dapoxetine 30 mg,once every 3 days,1 to 2 hours before sexual activity. The observation group received magnetic vibration electrotherapy(once a day,30 minutes per session)in combination with oral dapoxetine. Both groups were treated for 4 weeks. The therapeutic effect was evaluated using sexual quality of life scores and the National Institutes of Health Chronic Prostatitis Symptom Index(NIH-CPSI).Results After treatment, the sexual quality of life scores and NIH-CPSI scores of the patients in the observation group were significantly improved compared to the control group, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).Conclusion Magnetic vibration electrotherapy combined with dapoxetine is safe and effective in treating patients with type Ⅲ CP-induced PE,and can significantly improve related symptoms, warranting further promotion and application.
