Objective To explore the impact of virtual community diversified emotional therapy on the negative emotions of tuberculosis patients and observe its therapeutic effect. Methods A total of 186 tuberculosis patients with negative emotions treated from July 2021 to December 2023 at a tertiary hospital in Hangzhou were selected as the study subjects and randomly divided into a control group and an observation group,with 93 cases in each group.The control group received routine psychological intervention,while the observation group received additional virtual community diversified emotional therapy based on the control group.The depression self-rating scale(SDS)scores,anxiety self-rating scale(SAS) scores,and Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index questionnaire(PSQI)scores of the patients in the two groups were compared at admission,discharge,and 30 days after discharge. Results There was no significant difference in SDS,SAS,and PSQI scores between the two groups at admission(P>0.05). At discharge and 30 days after discharge,the SDS scores(53.94±6.19,49.60±8.34)of the observation group were lower than those of the control gr oup(56.31±7.61,54.39±7.45),the SAS scores(51.01±6.51,46.94±9.79)were lower than those of the control group(53.24±7.15,50.04±9.39),an d the PSQI total scores(10.92±2.64,8.34±2.58)were lower than those of the control group(11.67±2.77,10.03±3.07),with statistically significant differences(P<0.05). Conclusion Virtual community diversified emotion therapy can effectively improve the negative emotions of tuberculosis patients and enhance their sleep quality.
