Real-world study and traditional acupuncture and moxibustion therapy fit into each other in clinical researches.Acupuncture clinical research based on real-world study is in the development stage,which has a great potential for growth in the future.This study aimed to combing the origin and meaning of real-world study and its current status in acupuncture and moxibustion clinical researches by reviewing domestic and international literature.By analyzing the advantages and challenges of real-world study in acupuncture and moxibustion clinical researches,it optimized the direction and thought,found and concluded better study design and data analyzing methods in the real-world study,solved the problems occurred in the application of acupuncture and moxibustion,aiming to providing more basis for acupuncture and moxibustion clinical researches based on real-world study.
