Clinical Study of Guben Liqi Acupuncture Combined with Pelvic Floor Biofeedback Electrical Stimulation in Treatment of Urinary Incontinence after Ischemic Stroke
Objective:To investigate the effect of Guben Liqi acupuncture combined with pelvic floor biofeedback electrical stimulation in treatment of urinary incontinence after ischemic stroke.Methods:43 patients with urinary incontinence after ischemic stroke were randomly divided into the control group(n=22)and the observation group(n=21)by block randomized method. The control group was given pelvic floor biofeedback electrical stimulation;on which basis the observation group was also treated with Guben Liqi acupuncture.Clinical efficacy was compared between the two groups.ICI-Q-SF score, clinical symptoms score of bladder residual urine volume and urge incontinence,TCM symptoms score,SF-36 scale score and urinary incontinence degree were compared between before the treatment and after the treatment in the two groups.Results:ICI-Q-SF score, clinical symptoms scores of bladder residual urine volume and urge incontinence were significantly decreased in the two groups after the treatment(P<0.05),and the decreases were more significant in the observation group(P<0.01).The curative effect of the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).The main symptoms score, the secondary symptoms score and the total scores of TCM symptoms were significantly decreased after the treatment in the two groups(P<0.05),and the decreases were more significant in the observation group(P<0.01).The scores of SF-36 scales were significantly increased in both groups(P<0.05),and the increases were more obvious in the observation group(P<0.05).The degree of urinary incontinence was significantly improved in the observation group after the treatment(P<0.05).Conclusion:Guben Liqi acupuncture combined with pelvic floor biofeedback electrical stimulation has a good effect on urinary incontinence after ischemic stroke.
