Study on Professor LIN Guohua's Comprehensive Acupuncture in Treating Tinnitus and Deafness
Tinnitus and deafness is a stubborn disease in otology.This study summarized Professor LIN Guohua's experience in treating tinnitus and deafness with comprehensive acupuncture.Professor LIN believes that patients with tinnitus and deafness are often featured with'upper excess and lower deficiency'.For excess syndrome,Shaoyang meridians of hand and foot are mainly taken,supplemented by treatment based on syndrome differentiation;for deficient syndrome,Shaoyang meridians of hand and foot and Foot Shaoyin Kidney Meridian,combined with Ren Channel and treatment based on syndrome differentiation,are applied.The patients who are given multi-treatment and with a long course of disease,acupoints based on syndrome differentiation combined with front-Mu points are selected.He attaches great importance to the application of acupuncture manipulation around the ear with Fameng acupuncture,and skillfully uses common acupuncture,fire needling,catgut embedding and other treatment methods to make the point prescriptions not being affected by body position,abdomen and back correspond,and Yin and Yang consistent.
