Efficacy of Zhou Tian Warming Needling Combined with Acupoint Catgut Embedding in Treatment of Female Simple Obesity and Its Impact on Sex Hormone of T and LH/FSH
Objective:To observe the efficacy of Zhou Tian warming needling combined with acupoint catgut embedding in treatment of female simple obesity and its benign regulation on sex hormones of testosterone(T),luteinizing hormone(LH)and follicle stimulating hormone(FSH).Methods:90 female patients with simple obesity were randomly divided into the control group(n=45)and the treatment group(n=45).The control group received exercise intervention,dietary therapy and acupoint catgut embedding treatment;on which basis,the treatment group was treated with Zhou Tian warming needling.The changes in obesity levels and levels of sex hormone indicators were compared between the two groups.Results:Body mass,waist circumference,hip circumference,waist to hip ratio,BMI,and F％were decreased after the treatment compared with those before the treatment in the two groups(P＜0.05),and the decreases were more significant in the treatment group than those in the control group(P＜0.05).The levels of T and LH/FSH were lower in the treatment group than those in the control group(P＜0.05).Conclusion:The combination of Zhou Tian warming needling and acupoint catgut embedding has a significant therapeutic effect on female simple obesity,and has a benign regulatory effect on female sex hormone expression.
